PLASTIC REGISTRATION Pins
Ternes Burton™ plastic register pins are an affordable alternative to the hand crafted stainless register pins. They are a third of the price of the stainless pins, but are still meant for repeated use. Both the standard 1/4" (6.3mm) diameter as well as the 9/32 round pins (meant for the US market) are available in two heights- .065" (1.3mm) and .120" high. All heights listed are the button only. The overall thickness of the base plus button on the lower height of .065" high is still less than the thickness of standard lino material.
Both my plastic and my stainless register pins enable tight registration on complicated multi color projects. The plastic pins sturdy and long lasting material meant for repeated use. They are however not rigid plastic so please watch your roller pressure with them. Plastic register pins can be ordered on the pull down menu below. Quantity discounts are available for both 50 and 100 pins. Packages are also available below with a combination of both plastic register pins and stripping tabs. Student Paks for teachers are available pre-packaged with a two pins and 50 tabs and can be found on the Packages webpage.
