Stripping Tabs

ST1.jpg

Ternes Burton stripping tabs are sturdy pieces of .0075" thick mylar. All of our stripping tabs are non adhesive. Stripping tabs are commonly combined with our register pins by printmakers to line up layers of artwork. For several detailed examples of how to use our pins and tabs please see the blogs linked on our Home page. Our most popular stripping tab is the ST1 which has a 1/4" hole. Available in bags of 100, 250, 500 or 1000 pieces. Stripping Tabs ST9 are available with 9/32" holes in bags of 100 and 250 pieces. Some printmakers use three hole punches from office supply stores instead of attaching the tabs to the edge of the paper. In the US the hole size made by these punches is almost always 9/32".

Discontinued stripping tabs are also available with horizontal elongated holes instead of vertical, or special diameters of 3/16", 5mm, and 1/8". Please email for help with ordering these discontinued odd ones.
