Ternes Burton hole reinforcers do just what their name says- they reinforce the holes in your work to prevent the holes tearing or distorting. While the majority of printmakers prefer to use stripping tabs, some use hole reinforcers as they feel that with the pressure of the rollers passing over their work they get less movement by using hole reinforcers instead. Hole Reinforcers will stick to paper, mylar, films, plates, etc. Packaged with 250 pieces on a roll of continuous backing paper. They are adhesive and made from 7mil (.18mm) clear mylar. The HR2's are white and 5mil (.13mm) thick material. Overall size is 7/8" x 1" (22x28mm). The most common hole reinforcer we sell is the HR1, which has a single 1/4" round hole. All hole reinforcers are $11 per roll.
Pictures below show a set up using clear hole reinforcers instead of stripping tabs. Hole reinforcers are then cut off afterwards.

These three styles are the most common sizes we sell. If you need one of the discontinued styles please send us an email.
The six hole reinforcers pictured below are discontinued. We have the dies saved and are able to set up a machine and run them if required. While we can set up a machine special it does take a lot of time to do so and we will either charge a labor charge to do so, or ask that you order a sufficient quantity to make the time worthwhile. Depending upon the quantity you need we might have them so please check with us. Thank you. Price $12 each.
