Examples of artwork
Reductive Linocut prints made using our register pins.
These are just a few examples of artwork created using Ternes register pins.
We will be adding additional pictures to this webpage as they are collected. We would be very interested in seeing your work. While we are not able to put all of the examples received on our website, we hope to add what we can.
Please send your projects to: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Ternes Burton pins and tabs I've used is mainly for the reductive linocuts. Many of my students have produced beautiful prints with this technique. In the past registration was always an issue. Typically a student would make a much larger edition and hope to have part of the edition well registered. We had tried several techniques, using the Ternes-Burton pins and tabs was the ONLY system where we had 100% success. This freed up the student to experiment with more colors, multiple inkings, giving them the confidence of a good end result.
